Our moving estimates are based on the information you provided and our experience and expertise. This is only an estimate, actual time may vary. The actual time can vary due to lack of preparation, poor access at job site, or additional items to be moved not originally accounted for in the bid. Job cost is directly correlated to access and quantity of possessions to be moved. We do our best to accurately estimate the cost of your move but due to variables out of our control, Seattle Movers does not guarantee completion time. Due to scheduling constraints Seattle Movers reserves the right to send more or less personnel depending on availability and need, this should not affect the total monetary amount to be paid but only the amount of time to complete the job. Payment is due upon completion of move.
We accept cash, personal and business checks and credit cards (Visa and MasterCard). If you are moving items into storage we require payment of cash, cashiers check or credit card. Moves outside of the Puget Sound area require a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance payable in cash, cashiers check or credit card at the completion of the move. You must be present at both the pick-up and delivery address. If you are not present at the drop off address, we reserve the right to withhold delivery until payment has been received. Additional charges of storage and moving may be assessed. It is a Washington State law that all moving companies have to charge for travel time which is charged from portal to portal and is incorporated in the estimate. There will be a 1 hour minimum charge for all work done. Each hour is prorated into 15 minute increments thereafter.
If your move is scheduled after 8 A.M. please be available one hour prior to the appointment time as our crews sometimes run early. We may also arrive late due to traffic or to earlier moves running over the scheduled time. We will inform you if we are running more than one hour behind schedule.
If for any reason you have to reschedule your move date or time please call the office at your earliest possible convenience, so we can sell that time slot to another customer. If you have any questions regarding your move, please do not hesitate to call. We will call the day before to reconfirm your move with you.
Seattle Movers thanks you for your business. Payment is due upon completion of move.

We require a $150 deposit to confirm your move date. This will be applied to the final bill. A full deposit refund will be provided with at least 48 hours cancellation notice.
